Hello everybodo, OK, I know I should read the archive of the mailing list, the documenation first and try to install the newest version of inkscape (I use 0.39), but I nearly finished a figure for a paper I need *today* and I am just missing a letter pi (the greek letter): for one reason I don't understand I don't see all the fonts I have in other program like the gimp (I am working with SuSe linux 9.1). My only solution at this moment is export the drawing to png and add the letter with gimp... ist there an other solution???
Thanks Cécile
enter in some text and hit "control + U" you will see in the status bar that it is waiting for some unicode input, then type in "03d6" that will give you the pi symbol

03c0 seems to be a 'better' ;) pi.
