Is there a way to switch off the antialiasing of the canvas? Why I want to do so? My 450 MHz PIII gets very slow on complex drawing.

Setting the magnification to »1:1« does not give the natural size, even though the X-Server has the correct dpi set (86dpi in my case). So where does inkscape take the dpi from? Can I change it?
