Inkscape 0.43 Released
Inkscape 0.43 is now released. With lots of exciting new features, many sponsored by Google's Summer of Code, this is the best release of Inkscape until the next one. Source code is now available in Sourceforge, and everything is tagged and labeled in CVS.
We kindly ask that this release not be publicized outside of the friendly confines of the Inkscape community until more packages are available. Shortly, a more public announcement will be made. Thank you for containing your excitement.

Great. I always use development versions anyway and they are very stable. The roadmap document at http://wiki.inkscape.org/cgi-bin/wiki.pl?Roadmap says:
for 0.43
RFE's
* (DONE) tools: add/remove points on path, bezier drag * (DONE) Markers * (DONE) Load-from-URL [bryce]
The autopackage version of 0.43pre (from last week I believe) doesn't have Load-from-URL - I can't drag firefox->inkscape on ROX-Filer desktop. So bryce, what's up? ;)
