Ahahah, thank you, that is funny :-) (I didn't even checked why it was crashing Inkscape...)
To upload SVG, SVGZ, or other images formats, may I recommend
http://petaimg.com (no bandwidth limit, files are there forever...). You can even hotlink to them. The only problem is that some (mostly australian for some reason) IP ranges are blacklisted, if you email the admin of petaimg, they'll be unblocked quickly.
You can then post the link to your file here or anywhere (handy because, most of the time, I do not see attachments for mailing lists, as I read the messages with the Yahoo webmail interface which blocks them).
Anyway! Thanks for finding the reason of the crash :-p

There must be something very special about your png file, cos' it crashes my rev21271 Inkscape build every time I try to import it (windows XP). I can import other pngs just fine.
