Hi all,
I have prepared a poster in Inkscape, amazing work with great editor. But I desperately need to justify text on both sides. Is there any hack how to do that?
Thank you very much. Michal

Hahaha, it works through xml editor. Just add text-align: justify to text block. It saved me hours and protected me from rework it in Scribus. What about add a button for this to text palette?
cheers, Michal

True! More interesting is that Inkscape doesn't write align attribute by default at all.

Actually, it is meant to be this way for the .42 release:
* Several new text styles are supported but don't yet have a UI for setting them: text-align:justify, word-spacing, textpath startOffset, block-progression:lr
Just read the release notes at http://inkscape.org/cgi-bin/wiki.pl?ReleaseNotes042 and look for 'justify'.
And so I guess this UI is due to the next release. HTH, jbar

One needs a completely free evening to read it all. I'm not that one, but thanks for the pointer :)
