With a friend we try to use the Inkboard. We both have a laptop with Ubuntu 5.10 and Inkscap autopackage with Inkboard. We use the gristle.org jabber server, we see each other via gaim. But when I try to invite him with inkboard, there is no invitation dialog on the other side. I See him connect or deconnect on the bottom of the Inkscape windows but cant share anything.
Have you some positive experience with inkboard?

Yup. Inkboard work just fine. Just connect to jabber server and then invite someone. They must to have opened Inkscape same as you, and to be connected to same jabber server. Then, you'll see in statusbar that buddy is invited. Then start drawing, and let buddy start drawing something and watch it out - it works :)
