multiselect in xml editor?
Hi there,
I'm using Inkscape to design web pages and it's great for this job, but seeing as I have mapped the html <div>s to many nested svg groups it soon becomes difficult to select the objects I need with the mouse.
It's very easy with the XML editor, but I don't seem to be able to do multiselect using this tool! Is it possible, or on the list of improvements? I'm on Inkscape 0.45
Thanks in advance,
Roger
yes, I would appreciate such a multiselection in the XML editor as well. The XML editor is a powerful tool and one of the reasons I use Inkscape. Its only sad they write everything in the style attribute instead of using individual presentation attributes. Anyone knows if someone works on supporting presentation attributes and getting rid of these style attributes?
Andreas

It's a long-standing RFE - patches will be very welcome!

I don't think it is worked on right now. This will be rather intrusive change in many areas. But it's doable - if there are people who want to work on this I will help get started.
