Hi
Is there any easy way to generate a string in LaTeX and incorporate it in Inkscape? In fact, I do not need anything fancy... just need to get the proper formating of the \LaTeX command for a LaTeX book cover.
Thanks for any ideas, Alberto -- Alberto Simões

Maybe. You can try to convert the string to PostScript or EPS (Encapsulated PostScript).
The latest version of pstoedit (3.42) can convert PostScript to SVG.
I've used that to convert an AI (Ad*be Illustrat*r) file to SVG.
