I'm working on adding some features to the inkscape website and I need some help with the design/layout portion of the work.

I know lots of you are experienced with html/css and what it's capable of, so I want to throw it out there and see if I can get some users to help me make the website better.

This is how I see it working: I send you a html file via email which I save from firefox from a running instance here. You have a play around with the design and where things should go and send it back. I then integrate your changes, do all the template work etc.
