New Feature: View Rotation
Hello,
An idea just struck me: A View Rotation Tool
Depending on the angle, stokes are more or less difficult. We all know the effect: Drawing a freehand circle. One part is ok, the rest is ... well ...
So I propose to add a tool to rotate the view to any angle. This way, we can work with the perfect angle (just as on paper).
The tool should be a small circle in the bottom bar. Clicking it turns the image upright. Drag left - Rotate clockwise, drag right - rotate the other way. Always rotate around the center of the visible area.
Regards,
I thought about it too. It's not that trivial to implement, especially if we want arbitrary angles and not just multiples of 90 degrees - and I do think arbitrary angles would be cool. We'll then really need a Hand tool one of the functions of which will be rotating the view (e.g. dragging with Ctrl).
Would you mind submitting a RFE for this?
