Hi -
I've taken the plunge to all open source, and I'm thrilled with Inkscape except for one maddening thing -
I've been using icewm for a window manager, and it clashes horribly with (among other things) alt-clicking in Inkscape. Understandably, this makes working with Inkscape incredibly difficult.
Any advice out there on a good window manager to use with Inkscape? I know I can use ratpoison, but then I have the annoyance of trying to use ratpoison with Gimp. I've already searched the list archives and other resources, but I'm hoping that someone out there has solved this problem already, so I won't have to spend days testing out window managers myself.
Thanks,

Every WM with all configurable shortcuts should do, but I guess
the key for window manipulations might still be hard-coded in some.
Metacity allows selection of a "Movement Key" among Control, Alt,
Super (Windows key). I picked the last as that makes obvious sense
and doesn't clash with aynthing ;)
