I would lilke to know if Inkscape can read ".cdr" files or if exist any convertor from cdr to svg.

But there are many test to see if there is any lost information like some times occours on OpenOffice.

I'm not sure I understand what you mean. Is it about loss of useful data by conversion from native Coreld file format to SVG?

I create a web comic with Inkscape. Before I used Inkscape, I used Corel Draw 10... saving all my Corel Draw 10 files to SVG, and then loading them into Inkscape, worked pretty well, but...

- for some files, the colors would be lost (all shapes would have their colors set to black). This was usually for Corel Draw files that used CMYK color settings instead of RGB

- fonts settings in the SVG files created by Corel Draw would be screwed up. I don't remember the specific problem, but I had to get one of the Inkscape developers to look at the SVG file and say "oh, that's not right -- delete this line and it'll work fine."

Other than that, the export worked very well.

Draw would be screwed up. I don't remember the specific problem, but I had to get one of the Inkscape developers to look at the SVG file and say "oh, that's not right -- delete this line and it'll work fine."

I think I remember that - it was caused by viewBox. I _think_ we finally fixed it then but I may misremember.
