Hello,
I got a weird problem and wonder: I have some objects filled with patterns as well as some shadows. I do not manage it to export everything to pdf. My objects do not contain any pattorns or shadows. I avoided to work with opacities as i read somewhere, that transparency is not valid in pdf. But still, my patterns do not contain any transparency and a shadow only blurs (or is bluring connected to opacity)? Anyway, even when I eface the shadows, my patterns are still not exported.
Using Inkscape 0.46 on ubuntu gutsy.
Does anyone have an idea? I definetely need my files in pdf-format...

Hi Dirk,
Are you using masks or clipping paths in your document. If so, it could be related to the following bug; https://bugs.launchpad.net/inkscape/+bug/208217
Basically, Inkscape doesn't currently support clipping or masks in PDF's. That may or may not be the cause of your problem. Or something else that Inkscape or Cairo (the rendering engine) treat similarly to clips/masks may be causing the problem.
Cheers,
Rygle.
