Hello there,
I've started using Inkscape a while a go, as an Xfig replacement. I'm quite dependent on the grid and rulers, and am a bit puzzled by Inkscape's ways - unfortunately, I couldn't google anything useful out of the net.
So, I was wondering whether someone would care to comment on the following points:
1. is it possible to make the vertical ruler conform to the internal coordinates, ie, I tend to use the XML editor to make corrections, and it would be useful to have the ruler conform to these.
2. can the grid also conform to these coordinates? I put a box on (0,0) using the XML editor, but the grid lines don't match the box edges
3. can it be that the ruler and grid don't match? When I pull a guide, I see that the cursor coordinates match the grid line, but not the ruler tick - say, 100 in the grid and cursor, 98 in the ruler.
Looking forward to any comments,
Renato
