How to create a new node at the intersection of 2 straight lines
Hi.
Could anyone tell if there's a way to place a new node at the intersection of two straight lines (without converting each line into a shape by adding more nodes, then doing something like path merge/union/intersection on those two shapes etc).
Also, would the same procedure work for two beziers splines?
Thanks, Jaime

None that I'm aware of. I was swearing at that yesterday. It would be really nice (and really impossible task) to have the geometric features of Geometry Expressions in Inkscape.

Could you check and make sure there is a feature request in for this?
Thanks, Bryce

Hava you tried with path --> cut path ?

Would it do what you're looking for if you turn on snapping and snap nodes to paths and have the appropriate sensitivity set (in options)?
