The resolution is too low to have good results using automatic trace, but you can easily draw bezier curves on top of it (manual trace), like this quick one: http://nicubunu.ro/pictures/12175-title-0-0.svg

If you just want rough strokes, calligraphic pen can do wonders, especially with subsequent union, simplification, inset/outset. Experiment!
