How to print artworks on inkjet printers?
Hi all
I'm using Inkscape on Linux, specially Tomahawk Desktop ( http://www.tomahawkcomputers.com/ ).
How do I print my artworks on an inkjet printer? I use Epson Stylus Photo R800. Is printing possible in first place? How do inkscape users print artworks?
The gimp-print ( http://gimp-print.sourceforge.net/ ) ver. 5.0 is coming soon. Can the gimp-print now known as Gutenprint be used to print Inkscape artworks?
I'm really interested printing artworks on Epson Stylus Pro series printers.

yes, i´ m using gutenprint too. just setup your printer with cups and gutenprint drivers
and printing for example with inkscape: lp -P Stylus-CX3650

Thanks for the reply. Yep, it worked. Sad there is no Gutenprint style dialog to select paper type and other options in Inkscape.

You can easily use an external print configuration utility. I used
| kprinter
as the print destination and it worked nicely, with lots of settable options for my printer.
