Inkscape integration in Mac OS X
Hi! I just saw an interesting thing in Graphics Planet:
http://gimpfoo.de/2007/08/30/using-the-mac-os-x-menubar/
It seems that a better integration between GIMP and Mac OS X is on the way! Does anyone know if this kind of integration is also being developed within Inkscape? That would be a great interface improvement to the Mac version of Inkscape...

Whoo that's really great. It also means that native gimp on os x is running pretty well. I should really try native GTK for Inkscape too. I'll try to do this using MacPorts during lunch break.
Unfortunately for the menu bar thing I don't think there's anyone working on this at the moment. There are not many mac developers on Inkscape board and more are always welcome. Join us!

It's not the same... Seashore is a little app that seems to be well designed, but that misses most of the tools that I use in GIMP. It is no replacement for GIMP...

I used to think they would add those features later since it was only a .1 release, but I see now on their front page that their goal isn't a complete Aqua port of Gimp.
