noooo!
i've just done a fresh subversion build of inkscape and radial gradients no longer work. i can choose radial gradients and change the colours, but it just colours the whole path in only one of the colours.
i'm off to submit a bug report.

This might be a side effect of my attempted optimization. Thanks for reporting, but the essential thing is, as always, platform, OS, etc...

OK, I backed out that optimization and used a different one which seems to give even better effect :)
