In fact yes, late last year when we were redoing the user interface, several of us did pop over to the #gimp channel to chat with them. We talked about the possibility of shared Gfx program GUI libraries but it was kind of clear that we weren't really ready to get into details since we still had a lot of work ahead of us. I think we still would like to get together with them on it, so if anyone's interested in working towards that, lemme know.
