I am using Inkscape 0.39 on Mandrake 10.0. I have been trying to select multiple objects using Shift+click but it does not work. I click on one then shift+click on the next and it just selects the second object only.
What am I doing wrong?

works fine in 0.43 under mandriva 2006

shift clicking the second object works fine for me. i'm using 4.2 under ubuntu.
you don't have a broken shift key do you?
