Re: [Inkscape-user] Japanese Translation

Thank you. I have sent that po file.
Thanks, I reviewed it, and although I don't speak Japanese, I have questions. There's a ja.po file in the distribution with this copyright:
# sodipodi ja.po. # Copyright (C) 2000-2001 Free Software Foundation, Inc. # Yukihiro Nakai <nakai@...58...>, 2000, 2003. # Takeshi Aihana <aihana@...59...>, 2000-2001. # Mitsuru Oka <oka@...60...>, 2001. # Junichi Uekawa <dancer@...61...>, 2002. # Mitsuru Oka <oka326@...62...>, 2002. # Masatake YAMATO <jet@...63...>, 2002
Yours seems to be copied from the Ukrainian one instead of the Japanese one:
# translation of ja.po to Japanese # Ukrainian translation of sodipodi. # Copyright (C) 2001, 2004 Free Software Foundation, Inc. # Yuri Syrota <rasta@...64...>, 2000. # shivaken <shivaken@...57...>, 2004. # shivken <shivaken@...65...>, 2004.
Also, the file we have is 71Kb, yours is 53Kb. Some strings that are translated in the old file are not translated in yours. For these reasons, I would ask you to take the correct ja.po file here:
http://cvs.sourceforge.net/viewcvs.py/inkscape/inkscape/po/
and incorporate your new translations into it.

Thanks. As you say I started translation from coping file. Then I send incorporated version.
