Vertical alignment of anchors of text objects
Hello,
How do you align vertically anchors of text objects? I.e. how do you make anchors of several text objects have the same X coordinate?

Did you try the Align+Distribute dialogue? Object → Align and Distribute.

In the align and distribute panel, there's a button for that. (``align baseline anchors of text horizontally'', with the 'a' on top of the 'y')

It seems I did not ask the right question but thanks anyway. In case this is not off-topic, can I ask if it is possible to set X and Y coordinates of anchors of text objects?

I use a guide, to set text to specific x, and sometimes x,y coordinates (and sometimes on an angle).
-- Click on the ruler on the left side of the canvas, and drag out a guide. -- Position the mouse so that the guide is highlighted, and double-click. -- Fill in the x value that you want. -- Click OK.
-- Set up snapping like this. Engage these buttons, and disengage all the rest.
Enable snapping Snap other points Snap text anchors Snap guides
Now you can snap the text to the guide, which is precisely the x value that you want.

It went really well :) For the record, snapping text anchors is not available prior to version 0.91.
