More extensiond error issues
Hi there,
although I have gs and pstoedit installed here (Slackware 10.1, Inkscape 0.41) and they are in the path, on startup I still get the error message of missing extensions and have no eps and ps import.

Erweiterung "EPS Input" Laden fehlgeschlagen wegen die Abhängigkeiten konnten nicht aufgelöst werden. AbhÀngigkeit:: T_yp:extension ..Speicherort: path Zeichenkette: org.inkscape.input.ps ***********************************************************************
As workaround I explicitely entered the path of pstoedit in ps_input.inx but that changed nothing.
Any ideas from someone?

Th eps and ps import are dependant on the sketch one, so if thats broke, so are they. Try looking in that direction...

Thanks! Installed sketch (which is quite a hassle, because it depends on PIL, which doesn't install in the proper path), now ps and eps import work fine. And only missing dia support is mentioned in the extension-errors.log file.
As I heard the extension handling is being worked at, otherwise I would have suggested to give the user a list with necessary libs/apps for various file formats.

Glad to hear you got it working. A document showing the dependancys is a pretty good idea, probably needs to be a tree diagram of some sort.
