Hello inkscape Staff, I'm trying to established a account so that I can get my homework assignment done for class but the website seems to be not working correctly. I registered already with the username: maxxboud / email address: Maxxboud@...3085... and it hasn't sent me back an email yet and the website seems to not be able to be downloaded. If you could please fix the problem and get back to me in a timely manner I would appreciate it so much.

You should not have to log in to anything to download Inkscape (though inkscape.org loads just fine for me, so maybe you are having a different problem?); just grab a binary from sourceforge.net/projects/inkscape/files/inkscape/0.48.5/ if using 32 bit Windows, from a repository with apt or yum or whatever if using Linux, and doubtless Mac has something similar to one of the two.
For a quicker response in the future, try irc://irc.freenode.net#inkscape (although you still have to be willing to help those there help you).

What are you trying to do with the website? (apart from register an account) do you need to download inkscape?
