just tried it, it's good but not quite right.

I made a square 61.565mm set to the top right of the page and use P1 symmetry and set the bounding box to 210mm X 297 (A4) and it gave me two columns of five boxes(10 boxes) - except the bottom box on each column overhangs the page, so does not fit onto A4 and should not be included (giving 8 boxes) and leaves a big gap down the centre, so it could put three columns of four boxes (12 boxes) per sheet.

also is there a way to add space between the copies instead of doing it manually?

if the page is set to A4 we create a shape or text or whatever and then select it, then copy it and then have an option to paste as many copies as possible that will fit on the page size for users that don't have a page then maybe they could draw a rectangle the size they want and auto fill could be set to use that size.

handy for labels with logos but also for repeat cuts of the same sized objects.

'Edit > Clone > Create Tiles Clones ...' has an option to specify an area to fill by width and height (instead of specifying the number of rows and columns).
