export area vs image size (0.92pre2)
Hi Friends, In 0.92pre2, when using Export PNG, I set it up for Export Area = Page. But the Image Size is different, even when the dpi is 90.00. The page size is 750 x 625, but the image size is 703 x 586 at 90 dpi. Here's a screenshot: http://inkscapecommunity.com/jd/ss/exppng.png Has there been some change with the dpi? Or should I make a bug report? I looked through the Release Notes, and could have overlooked or didn't understand something. But didn't see an answer there.

- Yes, you're right, the new default value is 96.
It still needs to be mentioned in the release notes (there's a small hint at the end, at 'known issues', asking for someone to fill in when the issue with adapting older images to the change is solved).

Addendum: seems that new value, while present in the preferences setting, is not taken over automatically for png exports. Not sure if that's because we have continued to use the same preferences file as we did for 0.91.
Maybe that part could be considered a bug, not sure there.

Aah, ok. Yes, I think this will be a common question in forums. So it should be mentioned clearly somewhere, imo.
Curious that it doesn't automatically show up as Inkscape's default. Like for example, when Trace Bitmap is opened, it's always showing the same default values. But maybe you're right about it being connected to prefs. I don't really know about that.
If it could be made to show 96 by default, that would be the best solution, imo. But meanwhile, now that I know, I can help spread the word.
