I just wanted to offer my thanks to those doing the work on Inkscape development.

I'd read about it some time ago, and thought it would make a good replacement for some other Drawing apps. But since using Inkscape, it's become clear to me what a nicely- thought out piece of work it is, whose simple interface belies the power under the hood.

My goal is to use Open Source ware wherever possible, and I see no problem making the changeover to Inkscape for my vector drawing projects.
