Importing ps files.

A program Mup typesets music files. The output is true PostScript, not bitmaps. Can this kind of PS file be imported into Inkscape, massaged and then saved without converting everything to a bitmap?

Probably the easiest way to do that is change the PostScript into SVG using pstoedit. It isn't 100%, but depending on your file it works pretty well.
