Hi all,
When I enter the fill and stroke dialog in the stroke style tab, the dashed list have empty fields and I get the following errors in the terminal: (inkscape:19864): Gdk-WARNING **: Attempt to draw a drawable with depth 32 to a drawable with depth 24
A lot of them... probably one for each element in the list. Any ideas on how I can solve this? I have the following versions installed: glib-2.8.4 and gtk+-2.8.8

I think that dashed list is created via a separate library, although I don't remember which one. My guess is that perhaps you have a problem in that library. But that's just a guess, I could be way off.

Search the bug tracker, both open and closed bugs. I remember we has something like that but I don't remember what exactly was the resolution.

I have seen similar messages regarding Gdk and Gtk, but those (in my case) have had more to do with my GNOME thing than anything else, apparently. It could also the be the way the dialog is being drawn in the GTK API, though.
