Hi,
Is there a way to transform a stroke into a path? eg you create a shape, with a stroke. Then you want to remove parts of the stroke. Cutting the shape simply creates the stroke again around the modified shape, i would like to have the path created by the stroke as an object by itself.

Hi
Under Path in the menu there is stroke-to-path (ctrl-alt-c) is that what you are looking for?
