I am using Arch Linux with Industrial theme on gtk 2.2.4. I tried with other themes which work without problem. Industrial is my favorite gtk2, how to get Inkscape works with ?

I will forward up stream to whomever creates the Industrial Theme. Arg. I really do not believe this is our bug, as we are using standard GTK widgets for the rulers, right?

Gnumeric have also suffered because of broken themes because they use a lot of specialised widgets. Even though it wasn't their fault they made a special effort to compensate for the broken themes because Gnumeric gets blamed.

It is tragic that applications suffer because of flaws in the theme engine but unfortunately that is the way it is at the moment.
