hola, soy un usuario colombiano que estoy comenzando a descubrir el mundo del software libre, inkscape me parece genial, pero solo lo he podido utilizar en virtual box por que tengo el siguiente problema:
he instalado inkscape con privilegios de administrador
me parecio muy buena esta forma de instalacion
pero ahora que esta instalado sobre linux ubuntu
no se como abrirlo o ejecutarlo
utilice alt + f2 y escribi inkscape,
y no aparece nada
¿Como puedo abrir el software?

hola Andres, que quieres decir con 'he instalado inkscape con privilegios de administrador'?, cuando instalas cualquier programa desde synaptic o cualquier otro gestor de paquetes, siempre se usan privilegios de administrador, es el procedimiento normal, sin embargo inkscape luego se ejecuta con los privilegios de usuario
deberias tener en tu menu de aplicaciones (en la seccion 'graficos') el icono de inkscape, si no esta el icono, es que algo malo paso con la instalacion, tambien usando alt + f2 y escribiendo inkscape deberia arrncar
otra opcion es abrir una consola y escribir
inkscape
y apretar <enter>
si haces esto y inkscape no arranca es que inkscape no esta instalado o hubo algun problema con la instalacion, exactamente que pasos seguiste para instalarlo?

Hola, gracias por interesarse con mi problema, adjunto las fotos de como lo instale:
Volvi a instalarlo y ya me aparece en aplicaciones >> Graficos ; pero no se ejecuta, comienza a cargar, aparece una pestaña en la barra inferior del escritorio y despues desaparece.
Otra inquietud que me a surgido usando el programa sobre virtual box es si se puede hacer una margen guia en la hoja, y como.
