Hello lists
I yesterday discover Sodipodi fork, because Sodipodi not satisfy my necessaries. So, for the first time, developers, this is great and best vector editing tool for Linux. I hope this is just beginning, and that Linux will get sometghing like CorelDRAW and Adobe Illustrator. Great job, again.
I today submit couple wishes to feature list. Just for the records.
And, now I wish to ask, how I can get archive of inkscape-user list archive in mbox format? Can someone send it to me, or I can download it somewhere on net?
TIA
P.S. Again, Inkscape is great job!

Since we use SourceForge for our mailing list, we don't have mbox format available as far as I know. However, gmane.org provides a newsfeed of the list, that I find to be a little easier to read archives than the SF mail archive tool. To use it, open nntp://news.gmane.org in a news reader and look for inkscape-user and inkscape-devel.

OK. Thanks, there I found posts from last two months, I think. But, it is OK :)
I wish to present my first Inkscape work - Courage Dog mascot. I grab frame from TV tuner, made path's in GIMP 2.0, draw clear bitmap model in GIMP, export to BMP, potrace that BMP to SVG, import svg to Inkscape, redraw clear segments and fine tune in Inkscape. And I get this (58Kb):
http://gallery.urosevic.net/svg/courage_dog.svgz
Wow, very cool. :-)
If you'd like, you can add a link to your gallery in the Inkscape wiki:

Thanks Artemio. When I get more time, I'll made two more Courage Dog SVG's. And, until that, watch Cartoon Network :)
