and see if it's broken for you too?
I cannot get the above. I use win2000.
You can download it with any browser. It's a regular URL.

I am having a lot of trouble with the Freehand Tool today. I am using the build of 1/March with win2000.
When I start drawing with Freehand the strokes often do not display. Sometimes only one of them, sometimes several. Then they work for a while and then not. Sometimes I have to redo a stroke several times before it appears. If I zoom in for detail and then come out sometimes there are lines missing and sometimes a heap of lines that I thought had gone will reappear. This behaviour makes it impossible to do sensible work.
This may be related to my post about Editable paths this morning.

Using the Freehand tool generates paths in which the nodes are corner nodes with both handles editable. In my real life (and I am sure in others) the nodes in this mode should be smoothed. Currently I have to rubberband each line and then make smooth nodes. Can this be changed in the preferences or could it be the default state instead of corner modes?
I only occasionally have to generate corner nodes and this is easily done on a one-off basis.
