Can anybody provide step-by-step instruction to install Inkscape 0.91 on Debian Jessie?
I have been unable to install 0.91.

the easiest way is to add it from the "jessie-backports" source:
apt-get -t jessie-backports install inkscape
(cf http://backports.debian.org/Instructions/ )
which should contain inkscape 0.91 ( https://packages.debian.org/fr/jessie-backports/inkscape
