There were several packaging issues discovered with pre2, so I've posted one more pre-release. There are also a few bug fixes included; see the NEWS file for details.

Have patience; posting the source tarball is the first step in the process. As packagers have time they will generate the platform-specific packages. It could take a day or two.

Bryce, could you please reupload the tarball. The filesize is significantly smaller than previous pre# tarballs and the sig doesn't verify.

Unfortunately Mental didn't publish the patch for calligraphic tool sensitivity that he and I worked on. He needs to test it and was going to publish it tonight. I dunno if we must release pre4 with this patch, but at any rate please do not make the final release without it!

If it can get in by this evening, then no prob. Much longer than this, though, and it probably should get directed to 0.45.1.
