resizing the page moves objects vertically
Hi all.
I'm using Inkscape 0.45.1 on MacOSX 10.4.10.
I noticed that the objects move vertically when I resize the page vertically. The objects keep a constant distance from the top of the page, which is the part of the page that moves, instead of the bottom of the page, which stays put.
This is a big issue when I'm doing precise positioning, with all objects placed using a grid.
This does not happen when I resize the page horizontally. The right limit of the page moves, but the objects are placed relative to the left, which does not move.
Is this a bug, and I should report it, or a feature, and I should complain ;) ?
Thanks,
Paulo

Presently Inkscape considers the top left of the page to be the 0,0 origin, which explains what you're seeing. There is already a recorded wishlist to move the origin, but it is not fully implemented yet.
Please go ahead and report this as a bug. If it is really a feature request, the triagers will move it accordingly.
