Hi
I read in the release notes that Inkscape now the possiblity to connect to other inkscape users. How to do so?
I found that UserManual but that doesn't help me:

How to connect with Inkscape .43? or do i need Inkboard? Can't find any menu item or button for that.
U need a special build for linux and a jabber account for that. You'll find an autopackage here : http://inkscape.modevia.com/ap/

Thanks for the information.
I tried inkscape-0.43+whiteboard.x86.package and inkscape200603021329.package
But when I try to connect I get the error message:
"Verbindung zu Jabber-Server aszlig.net fehlgeschlagen"
translated: Abort connection to jabber server aszlig.net
or when i try it multiple times I get this error massge:
"Inkscape encountered an internal error and will close now"
followed by a crash!
console output: "" $ inkscape

It makes no difference which of the both version I use!

The Inkboard feature is a compile time option. If you're using Win32 it currently doesn't work there. We're working on switching Jabber libraries so that the feature can be on all Inkscape builds. When we chose the library to use, they said it worked on Win32, but we've been unable to get it to consistently build :(
