My last action was to use Post-Script Fonts in Inkscape, those, wich installed with Adobe Type Manager. I can see the fonts in other applications (OpenOffice, FreeType in GIMP) but not in Inkscape. Any suggestions? Feature request?

I can't use many of my fonts either and I can't even tell, what's special with them. The same(of at least similar) problem was posted here on November 14th and confirmed - but not solved. This seems to be a real bug an is still there in Windows version 0.40 and snapshot of Jan. 7th. I wanted to switch to inkscape after I started with sodipodi but due to this bug, I can't. With sodipodi my fonts work perfect on windows as well as on linux.

Try to see if you can drop in on the Inkscape jabber chat and bounce things off people there. You can also follow up with me directly in email. I don't have Windows working at the moment, but can walk through trying to help debug this. (in the past, I threw in debug messages to wrap some sections Bulia needed help with when running on Windows).
Now, we are aware that the font stuff in general needed some internal reworking (how it was matching was string name based, and flakey), but I'm not sure how much that has changed.
