2020-09-13 03-50-16 PDTMartin Owens <doctormo@geek-2.com>I've been gifted many opportunities to correct my behaviour and I think about how my passion can spill into being bossy often. Trying to remember those times I didn't get it right.
2020-09-13 03-48-46 PDTMartin Owens <doctormo@geek-2.com>So the first thing; we have a procedure for dealing with code of conduct violations https://inkscape.org/community/coc/ The guide is there so anyone can feel confident identifying the problematic behaviour and raising the issue in a way that will get attention.

2020-09-19 03-00-02 PDTMartin Owens <doctormo@geek-2.com>Interesting! English got rid of most of it's grammar suffixes between old and middle English. Some still hang around, apparently we have hundreds still though. The fight between Dutch and French continues!
2020-09-18 10-18-07 PDTMartin Owens <doctormo@geek-2.com>I see
2020-09-18 11-16-46 PDTMartin Owens <doctormo@geek-2.com>So you can upload a new branch to your fork and ask for merge of just this one branch.

2020-07-23 15-09-30 PDTJean Franco Amoni Rodríguez <j0tamaker58@gmail.com>Well. I think we could start tomorrow.
2020-09-18 14-28-31 PDTJean Franco Amoni Rodríguez <j0tamaker58@gmail.com>In the last few months, Spanish parlants have been copying a English thing and is becoming more and more a trend. In English there is not something that really differ a verb from an adjetive, "branch", for example, is "rama", but while in Inglish you can say "Branch it", in Spanish this isn't even traducible... Maybe "Enrámalo", but it sounds really marginal aslñfkdjañklsjflñaksgj. The truth is that currently the meaning of "dinner" (cena) strongly changes when you say "dinnering" (cenando) in a phrase in which that's not the present. You can say "The dinnering" (La cenación), we can't. It's so understandable because our language is extremely flexible, but we can't do something like that. The English translation in something like "Dinnertion". So currently a lot of non-existent "action-or-effect-of" words are coming out this way: "Eation" (Comisión) (from Eating), "Sleeption" (Durmición) (from Sleeping), "Listention" (of listenning).

All I know is that is like an interactive mockup generator, but I would like to know if for your ux#17 request I need to know about C, C++, Python and the Inkscape code/API also. Whatever highlight you could give me I will be grateful. Maybe I will not who make that baing there are a lot of trained developers around, but I would like to start understanding the "`x::y`" meaning you all developers speak about. I'm fully interested in making any well-received GUI changes (things like adjusting alignments or changing one color)... I really would like to learn to code with Inkscape. Thank you.

2020-06-16 06-01-48 PDTJean Franco Amoni Rodríguez <j0tamaker58@gmail.com>What I showed you in the gif is a desktop entry that handles with quickly getting the backtraces. It's a mixed script of -x and shell. It allows you to clear old logs and avoid things that -x cannot handle. For example: All commands after `backtrace full` are ignored if there are no backtraces (error of no stack), even "quit", so if you close Inkscape as usual with `Terminal=true` in the desktop entry, the terminal fails on close dropping you on the gdb prompt. It also makes the separated Inkscape and Backtrace reports in the user folder and shows you when Inkscape exits correctly or crashing, allowing you to delete the "All right" reports at the end. I think I will expand the shell script to handle little configurations on its own file. The manner of use this is just with two fixed scripts in a folder, and executing `gcd inkscapePath -q -x instructionsPath`.

What would provoke you getting alive someone's feature? 2. If I explain to you in detail not only what would be the final result, but also how it should work translating the "possible code" to human language (an in-deep explanation of the functioning, I don't know how to code exactly), would it help in provoking you to realize it or "whatever you say, anyway its out-of-my-interests"? 3. What would STOP you from getting a feature with this kind of development alive?

2020-09-12 18-34-34 PDTJean Franco Amoni Rodríguez <j0tamaker58@gmail.com>Hello Nathan! - I want to make a close question to you... I will also ask it to Doctormo in private chat... Do you think there are toxic people in the Inkscape development team? I speak about the people that are almost everywhere in the Inkscape project... Starting by people like Myself, Graytomorrow, Teen, or even you (PD: You are incredibly untoxic, you are the milk for the poisoning)... The point is I can't believe how little comments (maybe just two words in a paragraph of hundred) can be super shocking for people with great intentions, and I would like this type of behaviors be identified to be eradicated. Maybe I'm being too sentimental or sensitive, but the truth is that I can note very unpolitical speaking around some Inkscape's people.

My own repository of Inkscape allocated on GitLab. That repository had months outdated and was full of strange issues mirroring from https://gitlab.com/inkscape/inkscape. So it appears my on-GitLab "edit" of my Merge Request was the cause of the corruption. Because my fork's master was corrupted, as you have described in the quote. I mean, to make that change I went to https://gitlab.com/inkscape/inkscape/-/blob/master/src/ui/widget/marker-combo-box.cpp and pressed "Edit", what says:_ A new branch will be created in your fork and a new merge request will be started. _ So that new branch in my GitLab's fork was moths (around two) outdated.
