Or you could run it on inkscape.org and link from Facebook & Discord & Youtube to (the forums, the galleries, the whatever the right tool is). That's what we mean by getting users to interact. They don't have to leave Discord, they just have to dip their toes into inkscape.org to post to competitions or things like that.
