There's a strong open source community here and depending on how familiar you are with that (I wasn't at first), it can be a bit overwhelming. Some of Inkscape's contributors are not on social media that's not open source. In part, that's how Vectors team members can make a difference.

I suspect that there's part of that in there. I'm aiming to promote both our chat and the discord one - as Tim says, our mantra is to find and connect with users where they are. 8-))
