Greetings and thank you for your response! Although Fusion is part of my Inventor Pro 2024, I do not subscribe to it. Too complex for simple linear type gadgets, etc. I design and make. I see all sorts of conversion freebies, but "Red Flags" come up in my mind when I hear "Free". I also work on Homeland Security designs and I can't afford someone snooping around with my computer data. Any reliable suggestions?

Inkscape doesn't support STL or STP file formats. Have you tried any online services? Google lists several websites offering free conversion from SVG to STL and STP. I can't personally testify for any of them.
