2019-12-19 08-00-00 PSTMartin Owens <doctormo@geek-2.com>If you'd like to work on documentation or answering questions in the mean time, that would help the project.
2019-12-19 11-21-30 PSTMartin Owens <doctormo@geek-2.com>You're not being reprimanded. I think we realises now that there are different levels of ability and we gave too many tools, too complex and too much to everyone thinking it would sort of work out. While your good self is very keen, you've struggled with the tools in a way that suggests that we need to be more careful to have friendlier and easier to use moderation tools. For example, not being able to delete your own account.
2019-12-19 11-22-10 PSTMartin Owens <doctormo@geek-2.com>I'm not involved in the docs, you will need to go into the main chat channels and ask about for further guidence.
2019-12-19 11-19-36 PSTMartin Owens <doctormo@geek-2.com>Yes please and thanks for all your help.
2019-12-19 07-59-41 PSTMartin Owens <doctormo@geek-2.com>Hi there, sorry for the late reply, very busy this end. The website isn't fixed yet, so I've kept the moderation recruitment closed for now.
2019-12-19 11-13-31 PSTMartin Owens <doctormo@geek-2.com>Just generically docs for Inkscape
2019-12-19 19-09-41 PSTMartin Owens <doctormo@geek-2.com>No one is allowed to take away your power to modify the software, or share it. You are legally empowered by right to become maker, sharer, seller and owner. The only thing you can't do is force anyone else to work with you if you annoy them. In open source projects we consider personal reputation and relationships to be the critical value and building that relationship over time with others is what being a great contributor entails.
2019-12-18 07-37-49 PSTMartin Owens <doctormo@geek-2.com>Thanks for letting me know!
2019-12-19 11-28-07 PSTMartin Owens <doctormo@geek-2.com>Yes, there is nothing to demote you to anyway. ;-) there is "contributing" and "not-contributing"
2019-12-18 05-59-35 PSTSydno <dfdfr@live.com>I will be using this account from now on. I would still like to be apart of the Inkscape Moderation team, as I have not left, but I have created a new account. Thank you for understanding. ~Sydno (Beta). Just call me Sydno for now on.
2019-12-19 11-20-26 PSTSydno <dfdfr@live.com>Also, how do you want me to help with the docs? In the chat?
2019-12-19 07-31-02 PSTSydno <dfdfr@live.com>Hi, did you get my message?
2019-12-19 11-12-08 PSTSydno <dfdfr@live.com>Ok sure no problem.
2019-12-19 11-23-51 PSTSydno <dfdfr@live.com>Oh ok. So I haven't been demoted or anything, correct. You're just making changes for now, correct?
2019-12-18 06-04-31 PSTSydno <dfdfr@live.com>I've informed Brynn of this change as well.
2019-12-19 11-13-03 PSTSydno <dfdfr@live.com>Are you talking about the doc for Moderation I read before joining the team?
2019-12-18 05-56-42 PSTSydno <dfdfr@live.com>Hello, it's Beta. I've created a new account because I accidentally locked myself out of the Inkscape Chat. Unfortunately I didn't save the backup codes for two factor authentication. Iv'e remembered to do so now, to prevent any future mistakes.
2019-12-19 17-52-52 PSTSydno <dfdfr@live.com>Well, a user.
2019-12-19 11-19-39 PSTSydno <dfdfr@live.com>Thanks for informing me. I thought I was being reprimanded. I'm glad everything is ok. I'd appreciate if you'd let me know when the moderation is opened again. I'd like to join again when given the opportunity. Thank you.
2019-12-19 11-14-56 PSTSydno <dfdfr@live.com>Ah ok. No problem. I'll help out with that until the moderation is finished or until you're ready to have me join the team again. Does that work?
2019-12-18 10-56-10 PSTSydno <dfdfr@live.com>No worries. I'd like to still be apart of the Inkscape Moderation team if that's ok?
