I am using a windows 11 machine 64 bit processor with a Nvidia GeForce 3060 graphics card with 16 gb of ram. All drivers up to date. Yesterday I uninstalled the V 1.4 Inkscape and loaded in the V 1.2 and everything seems to be back to normal.
