I tried to register twice and it kept circling me back to the register portal. I'm not sure what user name I had and it says already registered but can't log in. My school admin will be here tomorrow to download the software tomorrow but I need to log in first.

You do not need an account to download Inkscape.
It is available for free using the download links provided on the website.
