The cultural platform Luminaria, with the collaboration of these two markets and the Federation of Grouped Commerce and Markets of Madrid (COCAM) organize the first edition of LUMINARIA 01, with 33 artists exhibiting their works in the commercial venues. Luminaria is a cultural platform created by artists who are committed to direct and permeable collaboration with participants and their projects, creating cultural networks in urban environments, promoting the connection between contemporary art in all its dimensions and the social fabric.The s&aacute;bado, March 14, at 11:30 a.m., the empty stalls, corridors and common spaces will become new and atypical settings to host this exhibition that will be open until March 21. This first edition brings together artistic proposals in multiple formats as well as music and dance activities, with the aim of filling the neighborhoods with light, bringing contemporary art to daily life and proposing it as part of the civic fabric, an enriching element that includes everyone. and that contributes to the effective improvement of communities culturally, socially and economically. In its first edition, LUMINARIA 01 brings together contemporary artists from both Spain and different parts of the world (Norway, Honduras, Mexico, France, United States, Argentina...).
