Not just thoughts, I've written it. It's on staging. I'm in testing mode and waiting for a space increase on our host machine because 8GB isn't enough for everything we want to do.
There's a bit more work to do, for instance, no signing. Got to set up a cms-plugin for the data to get published in ways that make sense. But apart from making things easier, I've spent hundreds of hours writing and upgrading inkscape.org so we can get better control over the tech. The last thing I want is more administrative burdens ;-)
Excellent. Should we worry about mirroring or can this system adequately handle large bandwidth spikes?
