C. I think we should use them for Inkscape video podcasts and hackfests, and ship them to people willing to provide videos for Inkscope.

I vote A.
I don't think the quality is going to match CR or Ryan's cameras for video at hackfests.
Vectors would still be able to direct them out to events.

Is there a common ground between a and c ? Can we decide they are the property of the project, but the specifics of where they are located in the world is left to out outreach team, the "vectors" ?

Certainly A and C are not incompatible, but one or the other needs to be primary:
With option A, leaving the decision (and management) to the Vectors team, they certainly could choose to have it as a project owned resource that they manage. Sort of analogous to how booth materials have been handled.
Option C would keep the management duty at the board level, so one of us (or one of our delegates) would need to be keeping track of the material, and Vectors would need to coordinate usage with us.
Ted made some good points about the value of delegating authority, and strengthening team-level decision making, that option A fits with.

I think that gives the Vectors team the choice to whether they're best used as event boxes or tutorials or whatever. It just moves the choice from the board to that team, which I think could figure out a great way to promote the project. Ted On Mar 5 2019, at 11:33 pm, Bryce Harrington <bryce@...2...> wrote:

If someone wants to set up a live feed from the Hackfest, we really can't at this point with Ryan's or my camera. Podcasts are the same - you probably want to record from a computer with obs or something rather than yet to set up a camera rig.
If everyone else votes A, I'll change my vote, and see if I can sway opinion on that end.
